Enhancing Panelist Engagement with the EyeQuestion APP

The EyeQuestion APP helps panel managers to notify panelists about upcoming studies, supporting the panel manager throughout extended research projects. This feature is particularly helpful for home use tests (HUT) especially if they are spanning multiple sessions or days. Furthermore, EyeQuestion APP offers a space for panelists to receive real-time notifications when new studies become available, optimizing their participation experience.

Panelist Convenience: Panelists can conveniently download and access the EyeQuestion APP on their devices, making it effortless for them to stay informed about upcoming studies and submit their responses. They connect the app once with their unique code and do not need to worry about logging in or monitoring their email inbox anymore.

Setting Up the EyeQuestion APP

  1. Request Access: The EyeQuestion APP is available for specific licenses. To explore this powerful feature, you can request the EyeQuestion APP configuration for your system by sending an email to support@eyequestion.nl.
  2. Panelist Invitations: Once the configuration is complete, you're ready to invite panelists to download the EyeQuestion APP. Follow these steps:
    1. Access your panel management and select "Edit User Page" of the panelist you wish to invite to use the EQ APP.
    2. Edit each panelist's profile and go to "Panelist EQAPP ID" option. After selecting "Retrieve" an email will be sent to the panelist with download instructions. Make sure a correct email addresses are linked to panelists page.


Sending Notifications via the EyeQuestion APP

To notify panelists effectively, utilize the EyeQuestion APP's comprehensive notification feature. Follow these steps within your project:
  1. Access the project go to "Panel".
  2. After having included in the access list the panelists that have the EyeQuestion APP enabled in their panelist page, select "EQApp" for sending a notification. 

      3. Fill in the necessary details:
    1. To: This field is pre-set and contacts all panelists.
    2. Subject: A concise title (max 30 characters) for the EQApp message.
    3. Start Date/Time: The commencement date and time of the notification's appearance.
    4. End Date/Time: The cutoff date and time for panelists to access the questionnaire in the EQApp.
    5. Timezone: Select the appropriate timezone for accurate datetimes.
    6. Template: Use existing templates to speed up the process.
    7. Invite for: Designate the session for panelists to complete, this will ensure the panelists can only start that session.
    8. Text: The core message content (max 200 characters) with placeholders for panelist information and project details.
4. Click "Schedule" to send the notification.

Panelist Experience

Upon setting up notifications via the EyeQuestion APP, panelists receive a push notification on their devices. The message, as configured, informs them about the upcoming study session. Once accessed to the EyeQuestion APP, panelists can participate in the study.
