Export and Import Data from Demo System
Project Export/Import
During your trial period, you may have collected data or created projects that you wish to incorporate into your new system. Follow these steps to import/export projects:
Export your project from the demo system by navigating to the project you wish to export and selecting Export > Project > Zipped Project.
- Import the project into your new system. From the main menu select Project > Import Project and select the downloaded Zipped Project.
Project Template Export/Import
Similarly, if you've created project template in your demo system, follow these steps to import them into your new system:
- Export your project template from the demo system by navigating to the Site Management > Project Templates. Click on the action button next to the project template you with to export, then choose "Export XML".
- Import the project template into your new system. From the main menu select Site Management > Import Project Templates and select the downloaded XML file.
Categories Export/Import
If you've created categories in your demo system, you can import them into your new system easily:
Compile the categories you've created in an Excel file according to the provided structure (see attachment).
- Import the categories into the new system by navigating to Panel Management > Categories > List > Import.
Panellists Export/Import
Similarly, if you've created panellists in your demo system, follow these steps to import them into your new system:
- In the demo system, navigate to Panel Management > Manage Panellists > Export Panel Members.
- In your new system, navigate to Panel Management > Import Panellists and upload the exported file.
Note: If you have categories associated with panellist accounts that you wish to import, ensure you import the categories first and then the panellists.
Attribute (ADB) and Product (PDB) Database Export/Import
If you've set up the ADB or the PDB in your demo system, you can import them into your new system easily:
- In the demo system, navigate to Tools > Data Tools > select Attributes Database or Products Database. Export the information included by selecting the Export button.
- In your new system, navigate to Tools > Data Tools > select Attributes Database or Products Database. Import the excel file by selecting the Import button.
