Mostly companies offers rewards or incentives to increase participation in the consumer research. Reward management allows a user to grant and pay rewards to panellists from an EyeQuestion questionnaire. The user can setup reward criteria in the project settings so panellists who qualify the criteria are eligible for the reward. The qualified panellists can be granted and paid directly from the project or the user can pay them after a certain period of time depending upon their workflow.
How to set up rewards in EQ?
1) Add the reward types under the site management.
2) To add new Rewards you can click on the Add Reward Type button.
3) Fill in the following fields and click on create.
4) The rewards overview will look the screenshot below. The user can edit the reward by clicking on the pencil icon or disable the reward by clicking on the cross icon. It is possible to add more than one rewards.
5) In order to link the reward to a project in EyeQuestion, you need to enable the rewards in the Distribution tab.
6) Select the reward from the dropdown.
7) Once a reward type is chosen the amount will be automatically displayed. The user can edit the amount if needed.
In the "Optional Reward Question" dropdown, user should select a question which, if answered by a panelist, makes them eligible for a reward. For example: if the questionnaire has filtering out questions (like allergy question or consent question) it is important to select the appropriate question to grant reward. In the screenshot below, Q3 (brands) can be used as a reward question as the previous question (consent) is a filter out question. By default no reward question is selected which means all panelists who answered the questionnaire qualifies for the reward.
8) Once the panelists have answered the questionnaire then under the rewards tab on your disribution page you can view which panelists qualify for the reward (in the screenshot below respo1 is eligible for the reward). The user can grant the reward by selecting the panellist and click "Grant reward" button.
9) However if the user would like to pay a custom value (less than the default reward) then user can grant a custom value. You can select the Custom Value option in the pop-up and complete the fields.
10) Once the reward is granted, it can be paid out via the panel management.
11) Select the panelists who should be paid and select the custom/maximum value.
After the reward is paid, EQ will automatically generate the payout report.
