After creating your project you need to activate it, this action is called Deploy. By deploying a project it becomes available for data collection. A deployed project can be allocated to a
location or booth or deploy links can be sent to the panelist by e-mail.
Project status
In the right side of the Project tab you can find the status of the selected project. A project can have 5 statuses and depending on the status, a different action button will appear.
Undeployed
An undeployed project is not available for panelist. As long as the status of the project is undeployed you are able to edit the questionnaire and remove or archive the empty project. With the deploy button you can activate the project, the status will change to deployed.
Deployed
When the project is deployed it is ready to collect data and it can be allocated to certain locations or booths. A database table is available and you are able to invite people by mail to complete the project. As long as there is no data collected, you can still undeploy the project by clicking on the button. The moment data has been collected this button will disappear.
The undeploy button will then be replaced by the close project button. When the project is deployed and data has been collected, but the user needs to make
textual changes you are able to make these. You can make these small changes and afterwards click the Redeploy button.
However, the changes will only be visible to the panelist after clicking the Redeploy button. Please keep in mind that the changes that have been made will only be applicable for newly started sessions after re-deployment has taken place. Sessions that were started before using the Redeploy button will stay in the old version.
If this is forgotten the changes will not be visible for the panelist, only for the user. To enable this feature in EyeQuestion, please reach out to support@eyequestion.nl
Closed
When all panelist have finished their questionnaire or when you want to prevent panelist to start a new session, you can close the project. Closing a project means that it will be not be available for panelists anymore and all open sessions will be closed and the data will be added to the project database. Data from open sessions containing missing data, will be stored in the database. A closed project can be deployed again, if you should decide to collect more data.
Finalized
When you
finalize the project you are no longer able to deploy the project and collect data. The project will still be visible in the workspace and you are able to analyze the data and export the data.
With the archive button you can remove the project from the workspace and save it in the archive.
Archived
Archived projects will no longer be visible in the main project overview. After clicking the archive button, the user will receive a warning message to confirm if you would like to archive. Projects cannot be reinstalled from the archive but users are able to export the data and access the project when the project has been archived.
