Static panels are a fixed group of panelists that can be added manually or filtered using categories, panelist characteristics (e.g., age, gender, city etc..), or their past and future appointments. Once a static panel is created, the panelists remain the same unless a user updates the filtering criteria. Whereas, a dynamic panel is automatically updated as more panelists meet the filtering criteria.
A panel manager can create a static panel by going to Panel Management > Panels and click the add Panel button
A pop-up will become visible in which the user is able to name the panel and choose the Static option.
After the user clicks create a window opens to build the Static panel, based on certain categories and/or restrictions.

The Select Training option is used when the Training Management feature is enabled and used in the user environment.
Categories
In EyeQuestion users are able to create categories to store panelist characterizations. This can now be used to create static panel, by clicking the dropdown menu users can select one or more categories to filter the panel. When a category is selected user can decide which answer should be selected for a panellist to be added to the panel. In between brackets is the amount of panelist that gave the specific answer.

If a user would like to create a static panel based on panelist information, like Age, Gender or City, is now possible to select these options and build a static panel. Depending on which option selected, the user needs to select which range and/or option to create the panel.
