Category data such as hedonic data & demographic data or interval data such as that defined on line scales are often collected in sensory or consumer research questionnaires. In order to rapidly visualize these results, you can make use of the Live Data Monitor. This tool provides a faster way to visualize the categorical & line scale results, making it easier to monitor a research projects progress. The monitor displays frequency results for category data and means for line scale data in simple, easily interpretable charts.
The Live Data Monitor can be accessed in two ways:
From the Data tab within the project.
By default all attributes are selected, these can be modified to the preference which should be included in the analysis. Additionally, you can split the results based on certain category questions (e.g. age, gender etc.)
The Live Data Monitor will display the output in different bar graphs.
Additionally, you are able to download the graphs in different formats by clicking the icon.
From the Monitor dropdown in the workspace.
After selecting the project of interest, you can select which question(s) you would like to monitor, the output is again created in separate graphs per attribute. Additionally, you can again check the relation between categories within your dataset by selecting a split variable in the Select Split Question section.
In case the research project is active, it is possible to refresh the table to display the latest results by clicking on the refresh button (2). It is also possible to share the results of the active project with non-users of EyeQuestion by generating a URL from this tool (1) via which non-users can view the results of the given project in the Live Data Monitor.
Things to consider:
1) This tool is available for the project manager.
2) It prints frequency analysis for category questions and means analysis for linescale questions.
3) The tool can be used for deployed, closed and finalized projects.
